Having fun with a farm feel? That's possible at De Drentse Koe!

On the border between the provinces of Drenthe, Overijssel and Friesland (near Meppel) you will find the Play and Ice Farm De Drentse Koe. An ideal outdoor and indoor location where there is plenty to do all year round!

Around the central play shed is a fantastic outdoor area (2 ha) where children will have the day of their lives. The small ones will feel farmer or farmer’s wife for a day with the multitude of toy tractors. For the larger kids there is a cool go-kart track and a unique cableway from height. Jumping on the trampolines or air trampoline or clambering on the monkey bars? You will run out of time! And then we haven’t mentioned all the animal friends yet, such as goats, chickens, rabbits and donkeys. While the children are playing, the grownups can enjoy the sun sitting on the spacious outdoor terrace.

Play shed
The farm feeling can also be experienced in the extensive, 3-storey play shed! Cruising with the toy tractors, clambering and sliding from the huge climbing tower with slides or building for hours with the mega blocks/lego. Or what to think of Glow in the Dark Panna football or Old Dutch games? This is going to be an unforgettable experience. And, finally, the favourite of many: the wonderful riding stable for children where they can ride on horseback and jump over obstacles.

In 2017 De Drentse Koe renovated the former cow stable. Now, you will find a completely new covered water playground with both manual equipment and sprinklers. So do not forget to take additional swimming gear and a towel with you. For bigger kids from 5 years up there is a very special climbing experience above the cows.
