Looking for a fun school trip to a farm-themed playground? You’ll find just that at De Drentse Koe, a family play farm with its own ice cream in Ruinerwold! We welcome many families, day visitors, family celebrations, children’s birthday parties and school groups.
Children can enjoy plenty of farm-themed play here. They won’t be walking among the cows, but they can see them up close. There are lots of different pedal tractors to ride, as well as plenty of opportunities to jump, climb and run around, both indoors and outdoors. De Drentse Koe is an ideal place for a school trip, with outdoor play areas and indoor play facilities.
Children can also play indoors in our covered play barn, which is heated during colder weather. So you can still enjoy a visit to De Drentse Koe even when the weather isn’t great. We meet all safety standards, making De Drentse Koe a suitable place for a school trip for children up to and including Group 6. Children can enjoy several hours of play, while supervising adults can easily keep an eye on them. The grounds are enclosed, so children cannot simply wander off. You can arrive from 9 am.
