Animal area

Sometimes, taking a moment to slow down is just as much fun as running and jumping. In the animal area, children can meet goats, sheep, rabbits and pigs. The animals can be stroked, giving children the chance to see them up close.

The young goats in particular attract plenty of attention. Families often stop for a while to watch the animals play, eat or curiously approach visitors. At certain times of the year, there are also calves to see in the barns, offering an even closer glimpse of life on the farm.

The animal area is at the back of the park, close to the pump track. It is this combination that makes De Drentse Koe special: after playing, there is always somewhere to slow down and spend some time watching the animals. Because for us, a family play farm with its own ice cream simply wouldn’t be complete without farm animals.
